Vardan, together with his parents and brother, lives in Gavar city, which is in the Gegharkunik region. He is 32 years old. After having passed his military service, for several years he went to the Russian Federation and was doing construction work there. Eight years ago he came back with some saved money, and together with his father and brother, established a small farm and became skilled in agriculture. They keep two cows, three calves and twenty chickens on their farm, but their agricultural activities are on a higher level and they have more income from it. They cultivate potatoes, beans, onions and cabbage. They cultivate these vegetables with great care; they do soil molding, choose the best seedlings and do watering work on time. They also have sweet and the best sort of apple and pear trees. Vardan sells his farm products (vegetables, fruits, milk and eggs) at the Ijevan wholesale markets through re-sellers or his loyal customers.

Vardan has decided to develop his farming activities and he needs a great support; he wants to buy two cows, a piglet and a lot of animal fodder. He says that if he manages to have the same success from this as he has had from land cultivating, very soon he will think about getting married, as he will fully be able to take care of his own family as well.
