Mirasol is 52 years old, married and has six children, one of whom is in school. Mirasol works very hard to provide for her family.
Mirasol runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a 17,000 PHP loan through NWTF to purchase more inventory (groceries) to sell.
Mirasol has been in this business for eight years and sells a variety of items such as snack foods, canned goods and other groceries.
In the future Mirasol would like to build and expand her business.

The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
