A loan of $400 helped to buy staple foods such as rice, pasta, sardines and oil.

Andre Marie's story

André, aged 21, is a young man from Cameroon. He is single and, for the past two years, he has been running a small grocery store in one of the neighborhoods of his city.

He is a young dynamic man, but his stock of merchandise is not large enough to meet the needs of an increasingly large group of customers.

He would like to use his loan to buy staple foods in semi-bulk quantities: bags of rice, pasta, boxes of sardines and oil.

The profits from his business will be reinvested in his activity and will also allow him to financially support his family.
