Robinah's story

Robinah is married with one child and she goes to school. She also takes care of additional family members. She sells green banana and has been in this business for two years.

Robinah has applied for a loan of 300,000 Ugandan Shillings (UGX) from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bunches of green banana. She earns additional income from rental houses.

Robinah works at the market seven days a week on a retail basis. The major challenges for her business include seasonality and transportation. Robinah aspires to sell on a wholesale basis and also to one open up another stall for different types of food.
