Paradise Group's story

Ritha, who is in her late 20s, is single. She is a college student. For four years now, she has been running a cafe, selling various kinds of food, such as rice, snacks and soft drinks. She has ten helpers in her cafe who run all the café’s daily activities. She is a really hardworking girl, with more productive plans. She works from 3 am to 10 pm daily, and she is able to make an excellent profit per month. This is her second loan application to Tujijenge Tanzania. With the previous loan, which she repaid back successfully, she bought a popcorn machine, in order to attract more people. With the profit she earned,covered her own tuition fees and household expenses, and she also reinvested in the business. Ritha will use this loan to put electricity in her business premises. She dreams of expanding her business widely, one day. Ritha will share this loan with her Paradise Loan Group, which consists of 10 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
