Joseph is a 46-year-old married father of two children. Joseph is a poet but, because of the very low income this business provides him, he works selling energy drinks to make his living and cover his family's expenses and increasing needs. His wife works as a nurse to help him make their living but, unfortunately, their combined revenues aren't enough to cover everything they need. That's why he is applying for a loan from Kiva's partner Al Majmoua to pay for his children's school tuition fees. This loan is big support for him, and he hopes to keep on working hard to develop his business to keep it capable of covering his family's needs. He hopes that one day poetry will be back to its golden age and he hopes it will reach a level that it would cover his family's needs.
