Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Delfin's story

Delfin is 64 years old, married for 42 years to 59 year old Arsenia. They have 4 children, 3 are married and live independently and the youngest, 19 years old, lives at home and is in the first year of studying at the university and his parents want him to be able to finish his studies without any inconveniences.
Delfin has worked buying and selling a variety of products such as sausage, chicken, onions, rice, oil, butter for 23 years and he stocks large businesses in the city such as supermarkets and restaurants. He seeks this loan to buy rice, chicken, vegetables and other items, as he has many orders and in this way can fulfill all the orders that he has.
