A loan of $375 helped to buy ingredients.

Kelly's story

Kelly is 21 years old, single, lives with her parents, sells food and also makes soft drinks with natural fruits. She always provides friendly service, good seasoning, and has been working this way for four years, having started out helping her mother who has since given her control of the business. Aside from working, she also studies and must set aside time. She used to sell juices and bread in the morning, but she had to change because it was important to her to focus on her studies. She would very much like to grow her business and set up tables and chairs and some utensils. This will be her seventh loan through Kiva and she is happy to know that she has financial support so she can continue advancing her business. She will use the 1,000 PEN to buy ingredients such as rice, chicken, cooking oil, and fruit, along with other items such as chairs and other utensils.
