A loan of $700 helped to buy three dairy cows to sell milk and generate better income to support his family.

José Rodolfo's story

José is a 69 year old man. He is married and has three children. He is a person who has been working in farming for several years, a trade he learned from his parents. Back then, it was what parents passed on to their children, because of the difficult family financial situation. He gets up at 5:00 a.m. to get ready with his wife and children to go to their cropland to work. Later he goes to other land belonging to other people to work as a laborer. To buy the agricultural materials, he has to walk about 6 kilometers to arrive at the place where he catches the bus. The loan he is asking Fundación Campo for is to buy three dairy cows to sell the milk and have better income to support his family. In the future, José plans on being able to buy more dairy cows and producing more milk to be processed. He doesn't want to depend just on his crops, but have another source of income as well.
