Husein is a 38-year-old, married father of four children. For 17 years, he has been selling birds.

Husein is a hard worker. To cover his family’s needs, he also has an additional income business. He has a convenience store that covers part of his family’s needs, since it depends on daily income business. Husein’s favorite business is dealing with birds because it is his best hobby and he finds himself among his beloved birds.

He is applying for a loan from Kiva’s partner, Al Majmoua Lebanese Association for Development, to increase the diversity of the birds he is selling, to attract new customers and draw attention.

One of the major problems he is facing is the lack of cash to buy the requested materials, at the exact, requested time. Husein hopes to reach a level that he can develop his business anytime he finds this need.
