Wissam is a 32-year-old married Palestinian Refugee. He has lived in a Palestinian Camp since he was born in Lebanon, and so he has limited options for which field he can work in.

Wissam is a hard worker, he has been working in the construction domain since 2007, and he has two employees to help him reply to the increasing needs of his customers. What’s good in Wissam’s business is that he is capable of taking projects outside the camp he is living in, which is all because of the trust he gained from his customers who recommended him to others immediately. His good reputation is his weapon against competitors, and he is taking a maximum advantage of this.

Today he is applying for a loan from Kiva’s partner Al Majmoua in order to increase his wood capital to cover more requested projects. He hopes to keep on expanding his business to cover wider projects in the future and open a construction company that will require more employees and cover all aspects of the construction business.
