A loan of $800 helped to buy equipment and supplies.

Carlos Andrés's story

Carlos Andrés is a 26-year-old single man; he has no children yet. He currently works managing his business, a barber shop he’s had for three years. He learned this occupation several years ago when he worked as a helper in a barber shop; he learned much of what he knows today there. He’s currently able to provide employment opportunities for three additional people. In addition, he sells merchandise like clothes, sunglasses, caps and hair gel that produces income for his support. He’s a hardworking, enterprising, organized man. This is the fourth loan he’s requested from the Corporación and he wants to use it to buy a new hair wash basin, three hair clippers and assorted merchandise (t-shirts, sunglasses, hair gel) in order to continue to offer excellent service with good work tools and offering a variety of products to increase his sales. His main dream is to be able to stay in business and to buy an apartment of his own to have better quality of life.
