A loan of $975 helped to buy soda pop, gelatins, and other snacks.

Vicente Bacilia's story

On Olmedo corner, every fifteen days the Mujeres Emprendedoras de Olmedo Community Bank meets. This place is known for its beautiful scenery and hardworking people dedicated to agriculture and raising livestock.

It is here we meet Bacilia, 62 years old, in a civil union with three grown children. Two of her daughters are separated from their husbands and live in her house with their children. Her husband is a driver (chauffeur).

She seeks a loan for the business that her husband has in their home. There they have some billiard tables where on weekends many people have fun in a healthy way, eating what they sell in their business. She sells juices, soda pop, gelatins, and various snacks that she prepares. Every day she makes the gelatins that she sells at her location or that her husband takes and sells in the area. They are very delicious and they sell what they make each day.

This loan is to buy soda pop, gelatins, and other snacks to sell at their business. She has been in the Communal Bank for more than ten years and she likes it because the loans have helped her a lot.

Her dream is for she and her family to have good health.
