Amenata's story

Amenata is 35 years old and lives in the West Point area, which has the most populated market in Montserrado County. She is married, and she was unfortunate to attend school. She has five children between the ages of 9 and 21; only three of her children are living at home and attending school.

She described herself as a hardworking woman. For the past seven years, she has been selling fashion slippers in the local market. She sells six days a week from 7AM to 5PM. She likes her business because she has lots of customers; she started this business with money given to her by husband. She uses a shared taxi to get her fashion slippers to her business spot.

Amenata is requesting a loan to purchase more slippers for her business.
