Altyngul's story

Altyngul is 52 years old, married and a mother-hero - she has six children (two daughters and four sons). She got involved in breeding livestock over 30 years ago. Her husband and children help with the business. Animal husbandry provides the primary source of income for her family. To-date, thanks to her persistence and drive, and help from her family, she was able to develop a small business, containing four cows and two horses. Altyngul wants to continue increasing the livestock headcount and, for this purpose, requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the Microfinance Bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to buy cattle. Altyngul is part of the "MOL" group that has two more participants besides her. Altyngul wants to use the earnings from the loan to expand her business and increase livestock quantities on her farm.
