Rani's story

Rani, a 40-year-old married woman, has been in the business of making jewellery boxes for 12 years with her husband. She initially made boxes for her friends and relatives, but then became well-known in her community for her tremendous skill and now caters to a large number of customers. She earns enough to provide for her family.



In order to expand her business, Rani contacted Kashf Foundation and requested a loan of Rs. 35,000 to purchase hard boards, cardboard and foams in large quantities to increase her sales. She expects a boost in her net income and wishes to spend part of her profits on the betterment of her family.
