A loan of $1,050 helped to purchase, dry and resell an apricot harvest.

Gufronjon's story

Gufronjon lives in the north of the country, in the town of Isfara. He is 30 years old. He is married but does not have kids yet. His wife is a housewife and Gufronjon single-handedly supports the family. His mom and his younger brother also live with them.

Gufronjon makes a living by selling dried apricots. Every year, he buys apricot harvests from farmers. Gufronjon and his family pick the apricots from trees themselves because it is cheaper to do so, and then they dry the apricots in the sun and take the dried apricots to the market for sale. This is their family's business. Gufronjon is continuing the work of his great grandfather.

Now, Gufronjon is in need of a loan. He is requesting a loan to purchase an apricot harvest to dry and sell. Thanks to the loan, Gufronjon will be able to continue his business.
