Muinde's story

Muinde is 49 years old and the father of 4 children, of whom all are currently studying in school. For the past 30 years, Muinde has earned a living by selling goods and services from his general store in Malindi, where he earns a monthly profit of 28,960 KES.

Muinde was introduced to Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET) by a credit officer and he is applying for his second loan of 60,000 KES to purchase additional stock needed for his business. He will use the profits from the business to pay for school fees, purchase food for the family and expand the current business. Muinde hopes to own his own supermarket in the future so as to improve his financial stability.
