A loan of $1,400 helped a member to purchase a bale of second-hand clothing.

Patience's Group's story

The "Patience" group is in its fourth loan cycle with ID-Ghana; all members put forth their best efforts to grow their respective businesses. They also do activities together to continue growing and helping their families. They sell children's wear, second-hand clothing, bags, bed sheets and electrical parts.

Patience sells second-hand clothing; she says that her day starts very early, given that she has to deliver her product to her customers due to competition. Married with two children, her dream is to own a second-hand clothing depot. She is requesting a loan of GHS 400 to purchase a bale of second-hand clothing to improve her stock and so continue supplying her customers.

The group's total loan request is GHS 2800 to improve their businesses.
