Aigul's story

Aigul is 39 years old, she is married and has four children: three sons and one daughter. Since 2004 she has been doing field crop cultivation and animal husbandry. Aigul was able to grow her crop cultivation business thanks to her love for work and her purposefulness. She has a cattle business which includes two milk cows, two horses, three stallions, two calves and seventy sheep. She cultivates 1.20 hectares of land where she plants potato and beans. Aigul's husband is a driver. As an additional income, Aigul sells milk from home. She has come to the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) to buy calves and fertilizer for potatoes with the goal to further grow her business. Aigul plans to invest the income from the loan into further increase of headcount of cattle in her business and also wants to build a new shed for the livestock. Aigul is in the Kelechek-N group which has three people and Aigul is a member of this group.
