Chau's story

Chau was born in 1991. She lives in BacNinh - the smallest province in Vietnam. She is an environmental engineering major at the National University of Civil Engineering (http://nuce.edu.vn/). Her course lasts 60 months, and she will graduate in 2014. Her educational fees are subsidized by her parents. Chau plans to find a part-time job to pay for her educational fees.

Chau’s family has six members. She is the first person in her family to graduate from high school and begin higher education. Her parents grow rice to earn a living. Her family’s income is about 6,000,000 VND per month.

Chau has a passion for her major. She wants to complete this university course of study because she is very well-suited for this major, and it is developing in Vietnam. She understands that learning helps her to have qualifications to get a high-paid job, earn income for her family, and contribute to the community’s development.

She wants to borrow 14,580,000 VND to pay for her educational fees. Besides lacking funds for educational fees, she has other difficulties such as lacking the money to buy a computer to support her studies. She appreciates the help of people all around the world who are raising funds for this kind of program. This has supported the education of many students in Vietnam.
