Hassanabdal, Pakistan / Milk Sales

A loan of $400 helped to buy another buffalo for her milk sales business.

Imtyaz's story

Imtyaz is a 48-year-old married woman and is running a milk sales business with her husband. She has two buffalos and she sells their milk to many of her neighbors, along with butter and cheese that she makes from the milk. She looks after the buffalos and performs the task of collecting milk from them while her husband sells it to different places on a daily basis. They have been doing it happily together to support their family. To help her continue operations of her business, Imtyaz requested a loan of 40,000 PKR to buy one more buffalo. It will help her to inflate her sales, which ultimately helps in bringing more cash to her. She is in her third loan cycle and has shown good repayment behavior. Imtyaz dreams of providing better standards of living to her family members.
