Samina's story

Samina, age 37, is a married woman. She is a mother of four children; three of them are school-going. Her husband is working on daily wages and earns insufficient income to support a large family. Samina has been stitching clothes for the past seven years to contribute to her family's income. She is very expert in stitching stylish clothes according to fashion. Her regular customers are her neighbors and she makes enough income to meet household expenses.

In order to expand her business she requested a loan of RKR 30,000 from Kashf Foundation. She intends to use this loan amount to buy more spools of thread in different colors with packs of laces, zippers and buttons to create a means of increasing revenues so she may able to generate a healthier source of income.
