A loan of $700 helped to buy additional tools for the repair shop and to pay the salary of the workers.

Bienvenida's story

Bienvenida is one of the loyal partners who is being benefited by the loans that she is borrowing. Aside from her repair shop, she also has an electronic loading station and a direct selling business. She only has one child studying in college. She and her husband are working hard to provide income for their family.

She would like to apply for another 30,000 PHP loan to buy spare parts, supplies and for maintenance of her shop. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain their daily needs and her child's education. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Bienvenida dreams that her business will stay longer and hopes for a good health for her whole family. She meets every week with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and to also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
