A loan of $700 helped to pay for spare parts and the maintenance of his tricycles.

Richard's story

This is Richard. He previously accessed a 20,000 PHP loan that he used to buy spare parts, accessories and for the maintenance of his tricycle (motorcycle with a sidecar) unit. His earnings were a big help in their personal, house hold and business expenditures.

He would like to apply for another 30,000 PHP loan to buy spare parts and for the maintenance of his tricycle unit and also to buy some equipment for his repair shop. His profits from his business will definitely help him to sustain their daily needs. He looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in his heart.

Richard dreams of have more motorcycles and hopes to have his own house and lot. Every week, he meets up with his co-fellowship* members to share stories of his life and business and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God that he studies.

* All Center for Community Transformation Credit Cooperative (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay micro-finance loans.
