A loan of $375 helped to buy flour wholesale, sweets and sugar.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda, 41, is a single mother who lives with her two children in her own home. Yolanda runs a bakery and learned the business at a professional training center where they taught her how to make delicious cakes and pies for events, school graduation parties, weddings and other social affairs. She has a busy stall in the city market and makes all her products by hand. Because of the creativity she expresses in all her work she always receives many orders. Therefore she is constantly coming up with new designs because she believes it is important to learn new things.

She has been working alone in the business for seven years. She enjoys baking and also likes working with crafts. Her business has given her many satisfactions and allowed her to earn enough income to become a prosperous business woman.

On this occasion she is requesting 1,000 PEN and is grateful for the financial support to continue to prosper. She is committed to paying back the loan on time and will use it to buy ingredients such as flour, wholesale, and powdered sugar for her work.
