A loan of $375 helped to purchase food products such as rice, sugar, and milk, among others.

Natividad's story

Natividad is 51 years old. She is divorced and lives with her child in her parents’ house. Natividad works selling food products; for this reason, she opened a store inside her home.

She decided to start this business more than 6 years ago, which was time that she used to grow and expand her business. She has customers among the majority of her neighbors, who she serves with the help of her mother. She likes her work because it allows her to socialize with her neighbors and have more friends who she can talk with.

Thanks to the income, she is able to pay for her necessary household expenses. This is her seventh loan with Kiva, and she feels pleased to receive the help she needs in order to continue moving forward. In addition, she is committed to paying off her quotas punctually.

With the requested loan of 1000 nuevos soles, she will purchase food products such as rice, sugar and milk, among others, in order to restock and increase her merchandise.
