A loan of $800 helped to buy a variety of produce to sell and to pay for a shipment of clothing.

Benedicto Antonio's story

Benedicto has been selling different products for nine years in the areas near his community. He has a truck that he uses to transport his products and to advertise himself on the streets with what he’s offering so that his customers can approach him to make purchases. Benedicto is requesting a loan of 34,550 DOP so that he can buy more products such as plantains, cassava, bananas, sweet potatoes, yautia (a root similar to taro), onions, and other items. He will also pay for a shipment of clothing that he recently received.

These investments that Benedicto has made in his business will help him move one step closer to his goal of replacing his truck with a larger vehicle so that he can begin working as a distributor.
