A loan helped a member to buy three bales of used shoes.

Ushindi Group's story

The borrower, Bulambo, is the leader of the business group "Ushindi". She is 36 years old and a young, although experienced, entrepreneur. She is also married and the mother of six children who all attend school. Her husband works as a teacher in a public school.

Bulambo sells used shoes, displaying her goods at the market. She started in this business using her own funds, received from her husband.

She will use this new loan to buy three bales of used shoes. She hopes to be able to expand her activity, feed and educate her children, and build a nice house.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima for providing support to small-scale entrepreneurs, through micro-credit.
