Aida's story

Aida and her nice family live in the village of Nerkin Hand which is in Syunik region of Armenia. She is married and has a daughter, who is already a student at Yerevan State University. Aida has been a manager, but for many years she has worked at their village library as a librarian. Her husband works in the village administration. Together they are also engaged in agriculture and farming, which occasionally provides a good income for their family. They have ten bee hives, two cows, three piglets and twenty chickens. They also cultivate some vegetables, but only for their private needs.

This is Aida’s first deal with Kiva. She needs this loan to buy diesel fuel and fodder for her animals, as well as to have machinery repaired in order to be ready for autumn harvest activities.
