The Communal Bank Jardín De La Artesanía (Garden of the Crafts) meets every fifteen days in Montecristi Canton, known for its rich pre-colonial culture and crafts, which are recognized nationally and internationally, the place of the famous Panama hats.

Francisca lives here. She is 38 years old, married and has two children ages 18 and 11; the oldest studies in university and the youngest is in elementary school. Her husband is an artisan.

Francisca is a very good mother and wife who sells Avon products (perfumes, creams, costume jewellery among other things) in order to help cover household expenses. She sells door to door in her free time, selling on credit and receiving payment every eight days. She has been doing this business for several months and it is going very well.

This loan is to buy creams, perfumes, costume jewellery and cosmetics. She has been in the Communal Bank for more than 6 years and she likes it because the loans are quick and without so many requirements.

Her dream is to give her children the best.
