Gregory is new to the trucking and transportation business with less than two years of experience. Although new to the business, he likes the open road and freedom to make his own schedule.

Gregory drives a heavy duty truck and transports vehicles from state to state. One day, while at a local bank in Slidell, Gregory inquired about applying for a business loan. When things did not work out, the bank referred Gregory to Accion Texas Inc. He applied for a microloan and was approved for $5,450.

Gregory used his Accion loan to pay for fuel for his truck, maintenance repairs, and to pay for certificates to be able to travel from state to state delivering the vehicles. The loan also helped Gregory maintain his business in his first six months and continue to operate smoothly.

For now, he continues to deliver the vehicles and meet many different deadlines. He plans to hire additional workers to drive as well and bring in more business.
