Delmi Azucena's story

Delmi, 36, is a single mother; she has three children living with her in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortes. The business she started 7 years ago is located in the community’s market; she sells clothes like blouses, t-shirts, pants, sandals and other merchandise there. She’s gotten several loans to keep her business in operation. Currently she’s requesting her 14th loan for 10,000 Lempiras that she’ll use to buy clothes, sandals and shoes to sell. Her plan is to continue working to improve her living standard.
