Munira's story

Munira is a young, married woman, age 24. She is a caring mother of three wonderful daughters. Munira lives with her family and her husband's parents in Qubadiyon, Tajikistan. It is located in the southern part of the country where the climate is excellent for agriculture. By character, Munira is a hard working and kind woman. She has worked in the field of livestock for five years. Munira mostly breeds cattle. She learned this skill in her youth from her father. She buys cows and calves from a nearby livestock market and after 30-35 days of fattening them, she takes them back to the market and sells them. Munira also raises crops. In the yard of her home, she grows corn, the leaves from which she feeds to her animals. Her mother and father-in-law help her run the business. She is taking out a loan to buy cows and calves. Thanks to this loan, Munira will be able to increase the number of animals she sells which will increase her quality of life.
