A loan of $350 helped to pay for fabric, thread and other materials needed in her business.

Amalia's story

Amalia works really hard for her family. Her husband, a mason, is helping her in providing for their family. Her previous loans have been of great help both to her sewing business and their household.

Amalia is requesting a new loan of 15,000 PHP to buy additional supplies of raw materials such as fabric, thread, needles, etc. for her business. Her profits will definitely help her to sustain their daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Amalia hopes to find a better stall for her business and dreams that her children will each have their own house and lot. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God they study.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay micro-finance loans.
