Kulnara's story

Kulnara is 57 years old, married and has two sons. For more than 30 years, she has worked with livestock and in farming--she's a master. Her whole family helps her with her work. Kulnara graduated high school . She started her business with 30,000 KGS and her monthly profits are around 9,000 KGS. She now has two dairy cows, 20 sheep and one horse. With the goal of further increasing the number of animals in her care, Kulnara has turned to the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 50,000 KGS to buy two bulls to breed and resell. She wants to use the income provided by the loan to further expand her business.
