Darikha's story

Darikha is 51 years old, married and has one son. Her husband is a professor at a college. Her son lives with his own family in Russia, he helps his parents by sending them money. Darikha started her own business selling clothing in 2000 with 50,000 KGS. Thanks to her hard work and perseverance, her monthly profits are around 8,000 KGS. With the goal of further developing her business, Darikha turned to the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 KGS to expand the assortment of summer clothing she offers. She plans to reinvest the income from the loan in her business, by increasing turnover. She also hopes, in the future, to make repairs to her home.
