A loan of $725 helped to buy rice, eggs, oils and other products for her food business.

Felicita's story

Felicita, 43, is married and lives in her own home with her husband and four children. She makes diverse regional dishes such as "juanes" and fried rice and sells food in the afternoons at the stand she has set up at home. Her sales volume is high and business is profitable and satisfactory. For three years she has been in business with the help of her husband.

Despite the fact that things are going well she feels it is not enough and wants to begin selling soda and beer. She also wants to improve the infrastructure of her modest restaurant and continue prospering.

On this occasion she is requesting 2,000 PEN and is thankful for the opportunity to go ahead with her work project. She will use the loan to buy rice, eggs, oils, vegetables and other ingredients used to prepare the food she sells.
