Eugénie's Group's story

This group consists of three people who live in the same district. The representative of the group is named Eugénie (shown in the photo with her hand raised). She is 45 years old and did not attend school. Eugénie is a widow, and is responsible for the care of her three children. Some of her children attend school. Eugénie lives alone with her children.

To meet her various needs, Eugénie has been selling sundries (sugar, milk, soap, etc.) from her home for the past twenty years. She purchases her supplies in a market in Benin. In order to strengthen her business, Eugénie has joined up with the other members of her group to seek their first loan from Alidé.

In this group: Eugénie, Félicité, Pauline
