Sherina's story

Sherina is married with two children, and only one of her children goes to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members.

She has a business of selling used clothes. She has applied for a loan of 500,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more bales of used children’s clothes.

She works from home seven days out of every week and sells on retail basis only. Her major business challenge include seasonality and thieves. She is aspiring of importing used clothes and also to buy her own house. The family resides in a rented house, and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses includes rent and school fees.
