Adelfa is 45 years old and widowed, with one child in school. She works very hard to provide for them.
Adelfa runs a general store in the Philippines and has requested a PHP 25,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy items to sell, like shampoo, canned goods, chips, soap, and other groceries.
Adelfa has been in this business for 20 years. In the future, Adelfa would like to build and expand her business to secure the financial stability of her family.

The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
