Batéma's story

Batema is married and has three children, all of whom are at school. They live in Lomé. In 2000 Batema started selling general food items, and has asked for her first loan from WAGES to buy more merchandise (rice, tomatoes, oil, etc.). With the profits she will be able to make her business more sustainable, as well as to better provide for her family.
