A loan of $675 helped to buy fabric, thread, and other materials for sewing.

Lucinda Magaly's story

Ms. Lucinda is a very good member of the credit group Sector 3 Marías. This is the second loan she has done with her friends and partners in this group. She lives on the outskirts of the parish of Turi in Cuenca, an area rich in green fields because of its rugged terrain. Its people struggle and are very hardworking. They work in various activities, such as agriculture, sales, and raising animals. They also maintain the culture and traditions of their villages.

Ms. Lucinda is 23 years old. She is married but still has no children. Her spouse works in construction as a bricklayer.

Ms. Lucinda has had a small sewing shop for a year and a half. The business is going very well for now and is always growing. She works every day but has no fixed schedule.

Ms. Lucinda is going to use the money from this loan to buy fabric, thread, and other materials for sewing.

Her dream is to have her own shop to sell the clothing that she makes.
