A loan of $1,600 helped a member to buy supplies for farming.

Chinacual Group's story

Javier is a married 49 year old. He never had the opportunity to obtain an education. He has 5 children and one of them is studying. He is a farmer, more specifically, he grows corn and coffee. He began this business because of the necessity of obtaining an income in order to support his family and he has 30 long years of experience to date.

He is organizing a group in order to be able to request a loan that he will use for the purchase of agricultural supplies, such as seed, fertilizer, etc. In the future he hopes to be able to count on better and more abundant harvests. The other members of the group work in agriculture. In the photograph there are 6 members but only 5 have been granted the loan.

In this group: Javier, Elmer Joel, Reyna, Rafael, Edgar Virgilio
