A loan of $375 helped to buy soft drinks and products like gum and cookies for his business.

Jose's story

José is 62 years old. He is married and lives with his wife, his daughter, and his grandson. José makes a living selling various brands and flavors of soft drinks, products such as cookies, caramels, gum, etc. He runs a tiny store that he built out of his home because he has always sought to create his own source of income. At the same time, he works in public transport and owns an automobile. José opened his store two years ago and, since then, has become well-known in his neighborhood so he has a steady customer base. He enjoys this work because it provides income he needs in order to provide for his family. José intends to increase his stock of products and offer more of a variety to better cater to his customers.

In this opportunity, José is requesting 1,000 Peruvian soles. He thanks everyone who has offered their support to offer him this opportunity to access a loan he needs to keep working. He also pledges to make all of his scheduled repayments. With this loan, José will increase the variety of soft drinks and products such as cookies, caramels, and cereal in his store.
