Her husband passed away in 2004. Despite the loss of the family's provider, Aigul after all found the strength in herself to persevere and continue raising livestock and developing farming. Today, she is a successful farmer of her small farm, which has two dairy cows, one calf and thirty heads of small livestock. Also, she has a land plot, where she annually plants potatoes and beans. Aigul's monthly profit is 6,000 som. In order to further grow her business, Aigul requested a loan in the amount of 20,000 som (KGS) from the Microfinance Bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to buy saltpetre fertilizer and also to pay for the tractor services of harrowing, plowing and cultivating the soil. The children help her to run the household. Aigul plans to use the earnings from the loan to increase the livestock headcount. The family is very respected in the village and friendly.
