Kalipa's story

Kalipa is 40 years old, married and has school-age children. She got involved in breeding livestock over 18 years ago, since 1995, having started this business with 3,000 som (KGS). Today, thanks to her persistence and drive, she earns a monthly profit of 7,000 som (KGS). Her husband helps her with the business. Kalipa has 4 dairy cows, 5 horses and 35 sheep, and is additionally involved in farming. Kalipa decided to increase her livestock headcount and continue to be involved in farming. To achieve this, she requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the Microfinance Bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to purchase sheep. Kalipa plans to use the earnings from the loan to improve her family's welfare.
