Cholpon's story

Cholpon is 40 years old, married and is a mother with many children - she has four. Her husband helps her with the business. She started her business with the market in 2007. She sells vegetables and fruits at the local market. She started the business with 5,000 som and expanded her goods turnover. Cholpon is very hardworking; she pulls her family financially, and the children are small. Thanks to her hard work and persistence, today her product turnover amounts to 20,000 som, which yields a good profit to her family, in the amount of 15,000 som. In order to increase product turnover, Cholpon requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the Microfinance Bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to purchase fruits and vegetables for resale. She plans to use the earnings from the loan to buy furniture for home and to live well.
