A loan of $975 helped to buy steel chains, bracelets, rings and charms.

Irma Del Socorro's story

Irma is a humble, young single mother who is trying to get ahead. She lives in Tipitapa, a town 30 minutes from Managua. She sells steel jewelry in order to educate and feed her three children. The loan she is requesting is to buy women's and men's chains, bracelets, rings and charms. With this small investment she hopes to continue with her sales and maintain her income, especially so she can put food on the table for her children.
