Bahongwere Group's story

Jacqueline is a member of the Bahongwere business group. An experienced entrepreneur, she is a 47-year-old widowed mother of six children, three of them in school. Her husband passed away after a brief illness. Jacqueline sells maize that she stores in a warehouse. She started this business about two years ago with financial help from the Hekima MFI. She will use this new loan to buy six sacks of maize. She plans to expand her activity, provide for her children, and ensure their education. She wants to thank the Hekima MFI for supporting small business owners through micro-financing.
